What's this, a public post? Blasphemy.

So yes. I went to see OK Go in Seminole, Florida. I scheduled a trip out of little old Ohio down to visit my brother in Clearwater, just in time to see OK Go as I was there, because I missed all three shows in Ohio since I flew out to England to visit my fiance. Ouch. Anyhow. You're probably not here to read about my adventures, you're probably here because (hopefully) Jorge is down with me, and has linked me as being down with OPP on OK Go's Blog. Yeah.

So here are entirely too many pictures from the OK Go show at the Boiler Room in Seminole, Florida on April 15, 2005. I am aware there are tons of Damian pics and a good portion probably look alike, but you can never have too much Damian or OK Go. They're like those potato chips, but can play their instruments better.
Feel free to save them for personal use (Although I'm not sure why you would because there are many better pictures out there), and ask if you want to post them elsewhere, or at least give credit/don't crop/edit the photos. Hurrah!

If you're on dialup but still want to have a look, or if my photobucket bandwidth goes dry, I suggest going directly to my photobucket account and browsing through them that way. There's more pictures there than here, as well, for anyone who wants to look at even more photos. Actually, those of you who really want to see the pictures should probably just go directly to the photobucket account rather than clicking the above link.

For the main show pictures its:

And the dance encore pictures:

And now I am tired and going to go sleep.

I thought I'd offered to hook you up with free, bandwidth uncapped hosting on my server? The login/pass I emailed you still works. Email me if you want it setup again.

I have a crazy amount of bandwidth available. It's just going to waste :P

Hm. I think you might have but I'd completely forgotten about it, really, I think I had issues trying to figure out how to login, but I've lost the information now.

I however, do not have your email address, so hopefully you have replies to comments turned on, and can email me my login info again or whatever.

I'm changing domain names from 3prime.com to valine.org. So, my hosting/dns situation is up in the air right now. I'll let you know as soon as everything settles down and it's stable again :)

I understand the whole profiting off of someone else angle, but from what I understand the first and second seasons won't be out on dvd anytime soon, if ever. The third season alone is something like $20. If I wasn't making money off of this, then why would I want to get them out to people in the first place? I thought people might be excited to see that they are getting all of the episodes anywhere. I know it's been online in places like kazaa, but a lot of times they are only clips and low quality. With mine you can watch them on dvd players and they are good quality.

So what if they won't be on dvd officially? People can easily make dvds to play in players for well under $25 a piece. And yes, the third season is $20-- That's a normal price for dvds, and guess what-- The profit would go to who it BELONGS TO, not some person who's selling em from their computer room.

Why would you want to get them out to people in the first place? Because you want to help someone out, instead of robbing them blind.

That's great that you thought people would get excited-- It worked in a lot of communities I see, but then you tell them you're trying to charge $25 and people know you're trying to just make a profit rather than actually be helpful. You know it's a cult show, and that people miss it, and some people would like to see epis they never saw, and instead of empathizing, you're trying to cash in on something that isn't yours.

It's been online in places like bittorrent, too, and in varied qualities. You can make dvds from them, and can be in the quality of your choice that you find.

It's great that you have good quality ones but you're charging for something that isnt yours to charge profit on. Sure, charge for the vcd and shipping and maybe a buck or two for taking the time out to burn something for a fellow fan, but don't rob the kids blind on something you don't have the rights to.

1. So what if they won't be on dvd officially?
-People want them. I have them.
2. People can easily make dvds to play in players for well under $25 a piece.
-Yes they can, but a lot of people don't have the time or the episodes to do so.
3.And yes, the third season is $20-- That's a normal price for dvds, and guess what-- The profit would go to who it BELONGS TO, not some person who's selling em from their computer room.
-I understand this. It's still being done. You are trying to back yourself up by saying people can just go and download them themselves. How does that help the sifl and olly guys?
4. Why would you want to get them out to people in the first place? Because you want to help someone out, instead of robbing them blind.
-I don't see why you think this is "ROBBING THEM BLIND". If the dvds were out, they would be $20 a piece. They also understand that they AREN'T available. Think about this. Sifl and Olly is "joe's" favorite tv show. He sees that so and so is selling them on vcd, which is not actually released by them, but is still all the episodes. So and so is selling them to a mass of people for $25 bucks a piece because it would be a lot of work to do it for next to nothing. Don't like the price or what I'm doing? Don't buy it.
5. "instead of empathizing"
-Making it possible to have more Sifl and Olly fans see the show than ever before...my heart is an ice cicle.
6."It's been online in places like bittorrent"
-Not everyone knows what bit torrent is, let alone knows how to use it. Like I said, if you can find them in other places, awesome. Don't buy mine then.
7."burn something for a fellow fan"
-again, not just a fellow fan, many many fans. I'm offering this to a lot of people. So what are you arguing here? Ethics for selling the show I don't own? One way to see it. Or, I could open people up to Sifl and Olly more and make a demand for it and may eventually get enough hype to get the show back(i wish), like what happened with family guy. You may say that I'm trying to rob people, but I'm offering a service. How am I swindling money from the Sifl and Olly creators when they don't even own the rights themselves? MTV owns the rights. So essentially, most of what I'm doing isn't stealing from anyone but MTV, and I don't even see how that would work since they aren't offering them up in the first place.

1/2. Which, going back to the point I've previously made. They don't need to pay YOU to get them. They can get them online. They can have friends burn them, they can have people who aren't trying to rip them off get it for them.

3. It doesn't help them, but it's definately not as bad as taking money for something that isn't yours to take.

4. It's robbing them blind because it's rediculous to charge $25 for something that, as I've said, what, 400 times now? Say it with me. Isn't yours. Don't worry, I wouldn't buy it, but I'm also going to tell everyone else to keep looking, because there *are* fans out there who aren't out to rip each other off. It's not as much work as you're making it out to be, and you know it. It works out to be what, a few minutes of work that your computer does for you, and you think you get $25 for each time? So, say each VCD takes 10 minutes to burn, and you spend an hour doing it... That'd be you getting paid $150/hr. Hardly minimum wage for the "work" you're doing.

5. They can see it, again, as I've said, for free. I think I've probably made that point abundantly clear.

6. Then you know what you do? You post and say 'Hi everyone! I have put a torrent up of all the sifl and olly shows here!', instead of taking advantage of their ignorance. Or you offer to send it on AIM/MSN/Email. Or you offer to burn it for the price of the VCD and shipping and 2 bucks for all the 5 minutes worth of trouble your computer is going through.

7. I'm arguing for the people you're trying to rip off that don't know any better. I don't believe in taking advantage of people, and it's exactly what you're doing. You know full well, as you said, that selling these bootleg copies of yours won't make sifl and olly come back from the (way years past) grave. The people thinking of buying this are the people who are already fans, the same people who signed 300 petitions and emailed mtv and, some of them, bought the dvd to support the makers of the show.
Even if you could somehow market this to bring in new fans, it's not your job, especially when we don't even know if the creators want to keep MAKING the show. That's their call.

Don't disguise this as something it's not, you and I both know you're out to earn some cash for whatever reason, and you know people might not know how to get their hands on everything like you (and many others) have. Your 'service' is a mask for you trying to gain quick profit off people who don't know better. Don't kid yourself.
